Traveling south on California Rt.1, Jim and Fran made their way from San Francisco to Monterey, Carmel, and the Big Sur coastline. This drive passes some of the most beautiful sights in our country and looks out over the blue Pacific Ocean. At Big Sur, the day was slightly hazy and just right for climbing among the rocks and colorful ice plants. With deliberate strokes of oil paint, Jim shares with us a part of the "Treasure Day".
